This is a pretty amazing sculpture and a really rough sketch of it that has more in common with the Giacometti drawing from it that the sculpture in some respects. The images were side by side in the drawing book I was using to draw from and because of this difficult for one not to inform the other. I can’t find the Giacometti anywhere so I’ll update w/ a scan soon. There is a great William Blake Laocoon to that I might revisit.
